Drinkhacker’s Turning 10, and You’re Winning a Bottle of Booker’s Bourbon!
September 4, 2007 marked Drinkhacker’s arrival on the web. In a few days, over 5,300 posts later, we’ll be celebrating 10 full years on the web, bringing you discriminating drinkers daily news, reviews, recipes, and more.
While the typical birthday party means the birthday boy gets the gifts, we’re flipping the script and giving you the chance to win a massive present, all part of a big thank you for coming to the site for all these years. The prize: A full bottle of the limited-edition Booker’s Bourbon Blue Knights Batch (2017-02 release). That’s a $100 whiskey that you probably can’t find at the store, and it’ll be coming to you from our friends at For Whiskey Lovers, who are graciously handling the fulfillment of the prize.
How do you win? We want you to do three things:
1) Like and Follow our Facebook page.
2) Leave a comment on this post on Facebook confirming you want to be part of the giveaway (and that you meet the rules below).
3) Share this post either by clicking the Facebook button at the bottom of this page or by using the Share button within Facebook.
*) Bonus points if you follow us on Twitter, too!
You have to do all three to be eligible to win. On September 5, we’ll pick a winner at random from everyone who does these steps and let them know via Facebook’s messaging system that they won. You’ll have 24 hours from then to confirm your age (you must be 21 years old, of course) and provide a valid shipping address, or we’ll pick another winner.
Now, the fine print: It’s illegal to ship booze to certain parts of the country/world, so you’ll have to live in an area where For Whiskey Lovers can ship. The good news is that the site can ship to 39 states and 25 countries, so there’s a good chance you’re eligible to win. However, if you live in Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, or Utah, unfortunately you’re not eligible to win (we’ll take the Facebook like either way). Please check the site for full rules on where FWL can and cannot ship. Remember you’ll have to sign for the package when it arrives.
OK, the party starts now! Get out there and put your name in the hat — and be sure to pour us a small one when you get the bottle. One for your homies, remember?
Congrats to our winner, Susan Hatch of Las Vegas!
