Review: 2023 Crossbarn Chardonnay Sonoma Coast
This latest from Crossbarn showcases all the classic California chardonnay vibes: lemon, coconut, baked apples, and vanilla — roughly in that order. There’s a softness to this wine that dials down any sense of over-oakiness, giving the experience a gentle, creamy body that perks up on the finish with a citrusy acidity, almost tropical in the end. Hard to put down and, in fact, when pairing the wine with a Middle Eastern dinner, we didn’t.
